Understanding photography and more specifically light and how it affects forms is important for any artist. Thanks to our special guest, photographer Bill Kontzias (www.billkphotography.com) who showed his concept of painting with light. Our studio demonstration class allowed us to paint with light, here is an example of using "key and fill" with color gels to create amazing images, as well as, an interesting photograph.
