“Watch the Gap while boarding the train” must have been ringing in the ear of illustrator Heidi Younger when she embarked on her latest self-guided book project titled Sounds of the Underground to be published as a limited edition. The illustrated book links street musician imagery with short snappy poems also written by Heidi. The images are designed to visually interconnect, mimicking the connection of the MTA system.
