As pathetic as it is in reality, the punch-line here is how expensive gas is. Or rather how in a few hours the price increases. I can drive by my local gas station in the morning and a few short hours later, it has increased. It's like a joke, except I 'm not laughing. But then sometimes I am laughing because it's just too ridiculous.

well, that sucks, but your illustration does not ;)
Ugh.
That is a terrible thing.
Oh, and I took your advice and started my own art blog!

Wonderful illo !
As irony dictates again the price rose (yesterday afternoon). It's now $4.39. FYI- I was laughing (and crying)... thankfully I have a tiny fuel efficient vehicle.
Sheer madness. Thanks for commenting everyone!
Nice one Heidi, I'm loving the gas prices, I'm off to buy an SUV so I can enjoy them to their fullest.
I know exactly what you mean....
I pass a bunch of gas stations on my way to and from work, and the weird thing is that there is sometimes a 10 to 15 cent difference between them randomly (here Tuesday, gone Wednesday). Makes me wonder who's shearing the already-naked sheep for extra monetary gain, and who's being a regularly priced gas station.
I try not to drive too much....
Love your illo and comment. I especially like how his right eye looks like it's twitching, like he'll loose it any minute now. I know the gas prices are making me feel twitchy....
