To illustrate dirt, that was a first for me. I've had many unique topics over the last 20 + years to create illustrations about. This was the first piece about dirt. It was a color challenge for me as dirt is brown. I had fun, none the less. It was fun to put in robin birds and worms and sprouts. For those gardeners out there your time is near. For me, I'll be happy painting gardens.
Gouache and pastel, more gardening...
Simply the neatest veggie one can illustrate. A bit of a challenge to prepare and eat though.
