Haha... Thanks for your part of the tale! Illustration seems to always come from our own life experiences, when I was 14 my Father and I found ourselves in a tiny row boat down in FL, surrounded my alligators, the small batch of land had a changing Bull standing there doing that thing with his foot, ready to get us should be come ashore. I kid you not! Thanks to Dad, he turned us around and got us right out of there!

... that he might want to invest in a better boat and paddle, if he's going to row in a river filled with crocs! This is a wonderful illustration filled with plenty of room for interpretation. I especially like the perspective, composition and palette. great job!

I enjoyed this one--especially the colour and movement of the water. Those alligators are cool too!

Fantastic use of perspective and palette! I like everyone else, really like the texture of the piece. It reminds me of handmade paper. :)

I think that croc on the left takes an interest in him and drags him off to be a pet! haha!

Legend has it...that the fellow, once a business man decided to take on Mother Nature by leaving his Beamer and house behind for this brand spankin' new canoe. Then one day, inconvieniently, that his skills as an outdoor type weren't what he thought. Maybe he should have stayed in the boardroom?

Lovely piece, Heidi.
